>>Volunteer's Needed! | OGR 1st Annual Skeet Shoot Family Fun Day & BBQ Further Details to be announced. What is modern skeet? It's a clay target game shot on a regular skeet field with regular skeet stations. The difference is you cannot mount your gun until you see the target, and the traps are set on mechanical rockers, so you have no idea what angle the clay will fly...singles...doubles... Planned Events Individual Attention 9 AM - Noon $20/half hour of individual instruction, help, or practice. Ideal for beginners, those who don't shoot often or just really bad shots. Kids are welcome too and must be under the direct supervision of a parent. Fun Shoot for all $5/round of 25 targets Shoot off. So you think you're good with a shotgun? $10, $20, and $50 rounds. Winner gets half and half goes to the chapter. What to bring Your shotgun(s), any gauge ok. Skeet, Cylinder, or IC chokes best. As much ammo as you care to shoot (#8 or #9 Lead), and a dish to share for lunch - Salad, dessert or something to grill. Refreshments provided by hte Chapter. | |
